About the company

AB Effectenbeteiligungen AG (ABE) is an Austria-based company. The Company focus is on selecting companies from the small and midcap sector according to the principles of value investing with a longer investment horizon and invests in larger companies with high liquidity and a short to medium-term investment horizon. It is engaged in investing its assets on the international stock markets. In addition, unlisted company investments, fixed-interest securities and hedging transactions with derivative products are also elements of the investment concept. The Company identifies companies at an early stage that became takeover candidates for strategic reasons and enabled them to generate capital gains. Examples of companies are Info AG (QSC), Renerco (BAYWA), Real Time Technology (Dassault), Rhoen-Klinikum (Fresenius) and BWT.
