ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited is a South Africa-based steel producer. It is focused on steelmaking and rolling, metallurgical coke making, coke and by-products and iron making. The Company’s segments include Steel Operations, Non-Steel Operations and Corporate and other. The Steel Operations segment consists of Vanderbijlpark plant, Newcastle plant, Vereeniging plant and ArcelorMittal Rail and Structures (AMRAS). The Non-Steel Operations segment consists of Coke and Chemicals undertaking the processing and marketing of by-products and the production and marketing of commercial grade coal, decommissioned Saldanha plant, decommissioned Maputo plant, Pretoria Works and Thabazimbi Iron Ore Mine. Its flat steel products include hot rolled plate; hot rolled coil; hot rolled coil-pickled & oiled; cold rolled coil; galvanized coil, and others. Its long steel products include fencing; forgings; hexagon bar; hollow bar; mining bar; rails; reinforcing bar, and others.
