About the company

Bowler Metcalf Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing plastics, plastic moldings and property holdings. The Company's segments include Plastic Packaging and Property Investment. The Plastic Packaging segment specializes in the manufacture of rigid plastic packaging for the toiletry, cosmetic, household, pharmaceutical and food markets, focusing on customized solutions rather than the large volumes, standards market. The Company's Property Investment segment is engaged in property owning. The Company's modes of manufacture include injection and blow molding (polyvinyl chloride (PVC), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polystyrene (PP)), extrusion (tubes and laminated tubes) together with printing and decorating capabilities, and injection stretch blow molding (polyethylene terephthalate (PET)). It has a research and development facility in Ottery, Cape Town. The Company's manufacturing plants are situated in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.
