Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is a South Africa-based company, which is engaged in the retailing and wholesale of affordable healthcare products and pharmaceuticals. The Company operates through two segments: Retail and Wholesale. The Retail segment consists of the Dis-Chem stores, retailers of pharmaceuticals and a variety of health and beauty products, as well as pharma-logistic services and oncology and retailers of pharmaceutical products. Its retail pharmacy stores are split into four categories: Dispensary, Personal Care and Beauty, Healthcare and Nutrition, and Baby Care. The Wholesale segment consists of the CJ Wholesale and Dis-Chem Distribution businesses, wholesalers of pharmaceuticals and a variety of health and beauty products. The Company operates approximately 258 retail pharmacy stores and 54 retail baby stores.
