About the company

Metair Investments Limited is a South Africa-based company that manufactures and supplies automotive components, and energy storage solutions for local and export automotive and industrial markets. The Company operates through two segments: Energy storage and Automotive components. Its Automotive components segment produces original equipment (OE) components used in the assembly of new vehicles, as well as spare parts and other products used in the South African automotive aftermarket. Its products include brake pads, shock absorbers, lights, radiators, and air-conditioners, as well as generic aftermarket products for use in imported vehicles. Its Energy storage manufactures batteries for use in mobility applications and in the telecoms, utility, mining, retail, and materials/products handling sectors. Its energy solution products include automotive and industrial batteries, solar systems, backup systems, standby systems, charging systems, battery distribution networks, and others.
