About the company

Corcel PLC is an upstream oil and gas development company, with a residual interest in battery metals. It retains several projects in the battery metals space offering exposure to key electrification commodities, such as nickel and rare earth elements. The Company’s portfolio includes interests in onshore Angola, in the Kwanza Basin, as well as legacy battery metals projects in Western Australia and Papua New Guinea. It owns the Mt Weld (P38/4489) Project, a granted mineral tenement, located only 1.4 kilometers west-northwest of Lynas Rare Earths Limited’s Mt Weld REE Mine near Laverton in Western Australia. The MT. Weld Rare Earth Elements Project covers 171 hectares in size and the tenement straddles the mine access road to Lynas’s Mt Weld Mine. The Company also has interests in three oil blocks in Angola, namely KON-11, KON-12 and KON-16.
