About the company

Semirara Mining and Power Corporation is a Philippines-based mining company engaged in thermal coal extraction and power production. The Company’s primary purpose is to search for prospect, explore, dig and drill, mine, exploit, extract, produce, mill, purchase or otherwise acquire, store, hold transport, use experiment with, market, distribute, exchange, sell and otherwise dispose of, import, export and handle, trade, and generally deal in, ship coal, coke, and other coal products of all grades. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sem-Calaca Power Corporation (SCPC), Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corporation (SLPGC), SEM-Cal Industrial Park Developers, Inc. (SIPDI), Semirara Claystone, Inc. (SCI), Semirara Energy Utilities, Inc. (SEUI), Southeast Luzon Power Generation Corporation (SELPGC), and St. Raphael Power Generation Corporation (SRPGC).
