About the company

Transportadora de Gas del Norte SA (TGN) is an Argentina-based company principally active in the distribution of natural gas. The Company operates a pipeline network of more than 6,000 kilometers. Its gas transportation system comprises two main pipelines: the Northern Pipeline, which begins in the province of Salta, and the Central Western Pipeline, which starts in the Province of Neuquen. In addition, the Company also distributes gas to Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. As of December 31, 2012, the Company held minority stakes in Comgas Andina SA (COMGAS) and Companhia Operadora do Rio Grande do Sul (COPERG). In addition, Gasinvest SA was the Company’s major shareholder.
