About the company

Universal Robina Corporation is a branded consumer food and beverage product company. The Company is engaged in a range of food-related businesses. Its segments include branded consumer food products segment, agro-industrial products segment, commodity food products segment and corporate business segment. The branded consumer food products segment manufactures and distributes a mix of salty snacks, candies, biscuits, and tomato-based products, and it also includes the packaging division, which manufactures bi-axially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films used in packaging. The agro-industrial products segment engages in hog and poultry farming; manufacturing and distribution of animal feeds, glucose and soya products, and production and distribution of animal health products. The commodity food products segment engages in sugar milling and refining, flour milling, pasta manufacturing and renewable energy. The corporate business segment engages in investment and fund sourcing activities.
