About the company

URA Holdings plc is a United Kingdom-based mineral exploration company. The Company is primarily focused on emerald mines, with the Gravelotte Emerald Mine (GEM) in production. The Company’s Gravelotte project is located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Gravelotte is owned by Gem Venus, which owns 74% of ADIT Mining (Proprietary) Limited (ADIT) and Venus Emerald (Proprietary) Limited (Venus), which hold all the mineral rights in respect of emerald mining and extraction at Gravelotte. The Company’s subsidiary, Malaika Exploration Limited, owns approximately two exploration licenses covering 1,284 square kilometer (km2) in north-east Zambia. Licenses include graphite, coltan (containing niobium and tantalum), lithium, and rare earth elements (REEs).
