The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, provides or invests in regulated natural gas and electricity, and renewable energy, as well as non-regulated renewable energy. Its segments include Wisconsin, Illinois, Other states, electric transmission, non-utility energy and infrastructure, and corporate and other segment. The Wisconsin segment is engaged in the generation of electricity and the distribution of electricity and natural gas in Wisconsin and distributes natural gas to customers located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Illinois segment is engaged in the distribution of natural gas in Illinois. Other states segment engaged primarily in the distribution of natural gas in Minnesota and Michigan. The non-utility energy infrastructure segment consists of We Power, which owns electric power-generating facilities, and Bluewater, which owns underground natural gas storage facilities in Michigan.
