About the company

Gelion plc is a renewable-energy storage innovator. It conducts research and development in battery system and associated industrial design and manufacturing. It is engaged in the development of two battery chemistries-Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S) and Zinc hybrid cell technologies. It is focused on commercial solutions for the transition to a sustainable economy through the storage of renewable energy. Its lithium-sulfur and zinc-based storage solutions are designed to be alternatives to lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies. Its Zinc Hybrid Cell is designed to completely discharge to zero volts, perform at high temperature and be safe. The batteries provide energy storage solution (ESS) for applications including home uninterrupted power supply (UPS), data centers, wind power generation, and utility scale ESS. It is also focused on designing the ultra-high-energy density cathodes and batteries to power drones, unmanned ariel vehicles, e-aviation, electric cars, and trucks (EVs).
