About the company

DTE Energy Company is a diversified energy company. The Company's segments include Electric, Gas, DTE Vantage, Energy Trading, and Corporate and Other. The Electric segment consists principally of DTE Electric, which is engaged in the generation, purchase, distribution, and sale of electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in southeastern Michigan. The Electric segment also consists of non-utility operations relating to renewable energy projects at DTE Sustainable Generation. The Gas segment consists principally of DTE Gas, a natural gas utility engaged in the purchase, storage, transportation, distribution, and sale of natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout Michigan, and the sale of storage and transportation capacity. The DTE Vantage segment is comprised primarily of projects that deliver energy and utility-type products, and services. The Energy Trading segment consists of energy marketing and trading operations.
