Solid State plc is an electronics company. The Company supplies, commercial, industrial and military markets with durable components, assemblies and manufactured units for use in specialist and harsh environments. It is a component supplier and design-in manufacturer of computing, power, and communications products. Its Components Division comprises Solid State Supplies Ltd, Pacer LLC, Pacer Components Ltd, Willow Technologies Limited and American Electronic Components, Inc. Its Systems Division includes Steatite Ltd, Active Silicon Limited and Active Silicon Inc. The Company has expertise in industrial and ruggedized computing, displays, battery power solutions, communications, including antennas and secure radio systems, imaging technologies, electrical and electronic components. The Company is a supplier to clients in the defense, energy production, aerospace, environmental, oceanographic, industrial, robotics, medical, life sciences, and transportation sectors.
