About the company

Vesuvius plc is engaged in molten metal flow engineering and technology. The Company’s segments include Steel and Foundry. The Steel Division includes Steel Flow Control, Steel Advanced Refractories, and Steel Sensors & Probes. Steel Flow Control unit supplies the global steel industry with consumable ceramic products, systems, robotics, and digital services. Steel Advanced Refractories supplies specialist refractory products designed to enable steel-making equipment to hold the molten metal. Steel Sensors & Probes supplies a range of products that enhance the control and monitoring of customers’ production processes. The Foundry Division operates under the Foseco brand, which offers a range of foundry consumables and equipment to meet the requirements of iron foundries, steel foundries, and non-ferrous foundries. Foundry Division’s six core product lines are feeding systems, coatings, metal treatment, filters, refractories, and crucibles. It also owns molten metal systems businesses.
